In a decisive 8-0 victory over
the Minnesota North Stars at the Met Center, the Penguins captured
their first Stanley Cup.
Mario Lemieux has a goal and three assists and Joe Mullen notches
two goals, while Barrasso stops 39 shots to post the shutout.
The Penguins claim the series four games to two.

16th consecutive win in 1993.
Continuing his remarkable scoring rampage after undergoing treatment
for cancer, Mario Lemieux erupts for five goals
as the Penguins blast the Rangers 10 - 4. New York City native
Joe Mullen added a hat trick for the Pens.
This winning streak would later extend to 17 games - a League record
that still stands.
The Penguins 1992-93 season was the best regular season record
in team history.
